Forest restoration and agroforestry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Mexican federal state of Chiapas is home to exceptional amounts of different forests, plants and animals. But during the last several decades, we have witnessed the disappearance of more and more nature, as a result of both large scale agriculture and wildfires. The consequences for the climate, biodiversity and the local population are enormous. All the more reason for Trees for All to take action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with our Mexican partner AMBIO we are going to plant 71,000 new indigenous trees. In this way we will restore endangered sloping forests and provide shade in coffee-yards: an important source of income for local farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes this project in Mexico necessary?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
